June has come and gone, and the Habbo White House celebrated this Pride Month with a Pride Maze, put together by our Secretary of the Interior d-gen and our lovely Events Team. Before the maze went live, Deputy Press Secretary BoolinJones sat down with d-gen to learn more about the maze and the meaningful impact it has on the Habbo White House community:
What inspired you to organize this maze?
Being part of the LGBTQIA+ community, I understand first-hand the importance to celebrate inclusivity and raise awareness on the necessity to have everyone be viewed as equal. This maze is really to raise awareness for the community!
What part of the maze are you personally excited for?
The theme this year revolves around identifying the core colours of the Pride flag and what each of them symbolises. Many often associate pride with the rainbow, but not many truly know about the underlying symbolism of the colours! This maze features 1 unique colour in each room and explains what the colour symbolises! It's about combining fun and facts together!
Why do you think events like Pride are important for the White House community?
As the WH strives to foster an inclusive and accepting community, it is important to celebrate inclusivity! Hence, events such as Pride Maze are crucial, as they incorporate fun while raising awareness of the cause.
What's the song that absolutely belongs on your Pride Month playlist?

What exciting plans do you have for future events that you can share now?
The Office of Public Engagement has been working tirelessly to create engagement events for the WH community - and we're excited to push out at least 1 large-scale event each month to keep the community active and engaged.
