During the appointment of the Solicitor General BoolinJones, President Praeceptor informed BoolinJones that, with his appointment, he may retain his current GS level of GS-16. This is a direct violation of the Executive Act 2025, Part 1, Section 2 (1)(1), which states that the Solicitor General may only be granted GS levels of 12, 13, and 14.
The Department of Justice is therefore accusing the President of Negligence of Duties, as defined in the Crimes Act 2025 as "Failing to fulfill the duties of the rank/position" in Part 1, Section 7 (1)(1), a Class B offense.
Given the classification of this crime, the submission of this hearing triggers impeachment under Part 8, Section 6, of the Prosecution Act 2025. An impeachment resolution shall be submitted in accordance with Part 14 of the Legislation Act 2025.
