Hi Owen,
I am submitting a correction slip request for Congress (Amendment 1) Order 2026 following its Judicial Review.
Corrections requested:
In P1, S1(2), it currently states:
“in Part 1, Section 2(1)(5), by replacing ‘twelve (12)’ with ‘fifteen (15)’”
To comply with the Common Reference Framework, this should instead be written as:
“in Part 1, Section 1(2)(5), by replacing ‘twelve (12)’ with ‘fifteen (15)’”
Additionally, in P1, S1(3), it currently states:
“in Part 1, Section 3, by replacing ‘Each individual in the Legislature shall be assigned one (1) American state.’ with ‘Each individual in the Legislature shall be assigned one (1) of the American states/district/territories’”
To correctly reference the specific enactment being amended, this should instead be written as:
“in Part 1, Section 3(3), by replacing ‘Each individual in the Legislature shall be assigned one (1) American state.’ with ‘Each individual in the Legislature shall be assigned one (1) of the American states/district/territories’”
The wording and substance of the amendments should remain unchanged. These corrections are only to fix the references to the relevant enactments within the Congress Act 2025.
