II. Purpose of the Report
Ethics Board 10 was constituted upon the submission of two criminal hearings filed by VEC regarding the possibility of candidate coercion to replace their Vice Presidential candidate during the 3rd White House Election.
III. Evidence in Question
34 Discord screenshots, containing a private conversation between two users and a discussion between the defendants for their respective cases and both the Presidential and Vice Presidential candidates, spanning over multiple days.
IV. Ethics Board Vote
Following review and consideration of the submitted material, the Ethics Board voted as follows:
|
Votes in Favor of Certifying the Evidence
|
7
|
|

|
|
Total Votes Cast
|

|
The decision of the Ethics Board was unanimous.
V. Certification Decision
Based on the unanimous vote of the Ethics Board, the evidence was:
Accordingly, the evidence may be relied upon for the relevant legal or procedural purpose connected to the criminal hearings, subject to any applicable evidentiary rules, court procedure, or further review required under White House law.
VI. Summary of Arguments
Before reaching a decision, the Ethics Board deliberated on the authenticity of the evidence, as screenshots of Discord on mobile devices provide fewer details to work with, and the evidence in question was not organized in proper order.
While this caused some confusion and delays in voting, the Board agreed that the screenshots appeared to be authentic with no tampering apparent. The Board agreed that the screenshots portrayed a possibility of a crime being committed and voted to certify the evidence in question.
VII. Final Notes from Members of the Board
Members of the Board declined to leave any final notes.
VIII. Final Statement from the Board Chair
The Board initially had some difficulties explaining the scope of responsibilities of the Ethics Board to members who had never participated previously. We had some misunderstandings, but after 3 days of back-and-forth discussion, we came to a complete and unanimous agreement.
The evidence is approved to be admissible in court. The final vote for the Board is 7-0, with all members voting in favor of approving this evidence.
